Do you need a "que" after?

"Il faut que je mange." Would turn into
"Il me faut que manger?" Or is that not how it works? 🙈

For me "J'ai besoin" feels more like "i need to" instead of "i have to" but the translation Always makes it Sound like its the "same"

Isn't this version a bit more formal than il faut que + je/tu/il etc? At least I remember reading somewhere that usually people give preference to il faut que rather than il (pronoun) faut
