Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

...et je devais ... partager une avec...
Since we have « une » right after the verb and it's a number, we can't use a direct object pronoun here. The noun that is being replaced here is « une chambre », not « la chambre ». So, any idea which object pronoun you'd use? -
Je ... ai tout de suite adoré__s__.
Look at the past participle here; it's plural, not singular. That must mean that what is being referred to is plural as well, so we can't use « l' » to replace it because it's singular. -
...je commençais à ... sentir isolé.
Through context, we can figure out that the speaker is speaking about themselves. This means that we need to use a reflexive pronoun, and not the indirect object pronoun « lui ». -
...et je ... adorée.
You're on the right track here. However, remember that the direct object pronoun « la » elides when a word that starts with a vowel follows it. -
...qui se réjouissaient de ... voir.
Again, through context, we can figure out that the group was happy to see the speaker. So, which pronoun do you think should be used? -
Je ne regrette pas de ... avoir fait.
Here, there isn't a specific thing being referred to. Instead, it's the fact of not regretting going to the hostel (l'auberge). So, we need an indefinite object pronoun here. Hint: it is supposed to elide with « avoir ».
mdr
- is it « en »?
- ah, so « les »?
- so « me »?
- oh yeah, idk how i missed that its « l’ »
- is it « me » again?
- oh is it « l’ »?
thank you by the way
yup
all good now 👍
no problem
so since the last one is l’ what if it wasn’t with avoir since it’s undefined? would it be le or la?
