Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
- Not as informal
- Could be many other things, depends on the sentence
depends on the sentence? so it depends on the context of what i want to say? how so? if i want to ask do you have ..., i'd say "tu as"?
I mean I don't have any concrete examples in mind, but sometimes it just sounds better
But a large part of it is just that intonation questions are very informal, even if they're quite common
hmm, so u recommend me use "tu as?" to ask something cus "est-ce que ...?" is formal and not many ppl use it when talking normally?
i mean tu as, tu es, ils sont, just makes a lot more sense for me and is easier to understand
Huh? Est-ce que is NOT formal, as I said - and is used all the time
It's neutral
So it works regardless of situation
oh good
Intonation is quite informal, so it could be awkward/almost rude? to use it in certain contexts
