Usually, the epithet goes in front of the verb in french, you're probably aware of that, but in most cases, it's possible to switch the position and it could even change the meaning o the sentence.

In this case, the most natural one for a big house would be the most natural, in-fact, it would be one of these cases where it is highly unnatural to have "maison grande".

For the rest, there's nothing else to say, both are grammatical, second one is not for casual talks though, the dropping of the pronoun is quite litterary.

whereas with « la nôtre » it's a pronoun, so it assumes the function of the noun « maison »

(specifically « notre maison », if you were to say « c'est la nôtre » on its own)

Yes in this case, "nôtre" works like a possessive rather like a déterminant, whereas in the other case it's a pronoun, but it's quite an old phrasing, fact is, you can't even substitute it with a non possessive version suggesting that it may be a relic of another time with different rules of grammar.

But I can see that Pata just said exactly the same thing so i'll just shut myself.
