It is still a a politeness formula, ravi is fine.

This is way over the top for a presentation. We only use this one for formal letters.
btw it would be "ravi de vous avoir rencontré"
if you say it at the end of the conversation
"ravi de vous rencontrer" would go in the beginning, like "nice to meet you"
