It's missing the conjunction « que » between pense and vous; it's obligatory in French whereas it's more optional in English.
'I hope that you're doing well.' ✅

Otherwise, it's a valid sentence, translating roughly to 'I think you're doing well'

Also penser being the verb confused me

« Je pense que vous allez bien » could be some form of reassurement

« Je sais pas si je vais bien, honnêtement. Je me sens si perdu, dit-il.

Yeah I should also clarify that this was a greeting. Maybe just a case of poor grammar or something

« espérer, penser, croire » take the indicative in the positive, the subjunctive in inverted-questions and negative statements

there's quite a few verbs that are like that though none come to mind rn

Oh I was aware of the negative for croire but I didn't know that invertion also triggers the subjonctif
