Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I.e how would I say “is there a reason” or “is there a channel” or “is there a place”
Il y a une raison ?
y’a une raison ? = plus informelle
C'est la façon la plus simple de poser ce type de question 🤷♀️
il y a = y’a when it is very informal, it is how we pronounce 😅
Okay, because I usually prefer shorting my words. Like I don’t go je suis ill go j’suis “cheux” instead and I just prefer the informal casual way
Is there = y’a (il y a)
You must remember this is very informal, please do not use in examen 😅
Ah oui merci
De rien
I'm not aware of any natives that say it that way so I wouldn't recommend it
You might be thinking of chuis/chu
Also, an issue with a less experienced speaker using slang and such is the person you're talking to won't expect it, so even if you use it right they still might not understand depending on your accent and everything else
