Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
That’s just the preposition that’s used with the verb “se moquer de”
à = has
de = of
elle se moque de nous
she makes fun of us

while « à » generally translates to “at” or “to” and « de » to “of” or “from”, it’s by no means universal and you just need to learn the prepositions that are used with certain verbs / adjectives.
