Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

[...]
(1) Check your pronoun here because you used « vous » here but « tu » in two other places.
(2) « avec » here doesn't have an object. « Il y a » is its own clause and « avec » can't do that so either add an object to « avec » or remove it entirely; it doesn't belong anywhere right now.
(3) Check your gender agreement of the article with « piscine ».
(4) Check your gender agreement with the adjectives.
(5) What do you mean here? « le tout de X » means, 'the whole of X' so it's a bit out of place. (The whole of students?)
(6) Check your number agreement of the possessive here with « enseignants. »
(7) The pronoun « tu » here is a subject pronoun whereas « tu » isn't the subject here, it's a stressed pronoun. Would you say, 'I and my family', or 'Me and my family'? I suggest you read up more on the various forms of the possessive pronouns.
(8) The conjunction « que » can't be dropped in French unlike in English. You should read more about subordinating conjunctions.

(4) Look at the subject that the adjective modifies and look at your adjective. For example, « ces enseignants » is plural but « gentil » is singular. « Elle » is feminine singular but « gentil » masculine singular.
(6) Look at the noun and then look at your possessive. It agrees with the noun. « enseignants » is plural but « mon » is singular.
(7) Pronouns have different forms depending on their function in a sentence. For example, the subject pronoun is « tu » and the object pronoun is « te ». This means that when it's acting as a subject, it uses « tu » and when it's acting as an object, it uses « te ». It's the same rule as the English pronoun 'he' and 'him'. Now, in that sentence, « tu » is not as a subject; the subject is compound: « [tu] et ta famille ». If you look at the link I gave you, you'll see that there are more than just subject/object. Try reading on each part and then come back here and tell me what it is.

@dark oar Hii ! You can look for « formules d’appel » (start a letter ) or “formules de politesse” (end a letter) there are plenty of them on internet.

Here are some (depending of who you’re writing the letter to)

To start a letter :
To someone you’re not close with :
Cher monsieur (his last name)
Chère madame (her last name)
Bonjour monsieur (…)
Bonjour madame (…)

To someone you’re close with :
Bonjour (his/her name)
Salut (name)
Coucou (name)

(For the last two ones you really have to be close to the person, it has to be a friend or a family member)

To end a letter :
To someone you’re not close with :
Cordialement
Bien à vous
Sincères salutations
Salutations distinguées

To someone you’re close with :
Amicalement (for a friend)
Bien à toi
À bientôt

It would be better to check on the internet but i think it should be enough, hope this helps !!

Ooh and in your letter, you said « ce lettre », when you’re supposed to say « cette lettre », I think that all of the other mistakes were corrected ^^
