Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I am having a hard time understanding 'Rossard qui s'en dedit' plus the word barreau i nthis context, lumieres I know but I am failing to make any connections with barreau.
seems to be old french. written in 1897
- You seem to be confused about lumières, not barreau
barreau????
la lumiere du... thel ight of what????
and s'en dedit , what is that verb?
dedier is not
S'en dédire
cos it does fit in
wow, man
you're freaking best
thanks
about barreau
so Rossard is a funny variant using the name of the guy, maybe
Like she's the brightest of the law Bar, presumably
👍
f.... best
In case you didn't understand it's like
"whoever goes back on their word (s'en dédire) is a pig"
Instead he says it's richard lol, I guess jokingly predicting he will or something

It's like a slap handshake ig
Ig high five is basically it tho
