Cher Journal, J’ai passé une soirée géniale. Nous sommes allés à un grand concert avec une foule énorme. La journée avait commencé quand mes amis me téléphonent et ils ont dit “Le concert commencera bientôt alors allons-y maintenant”. Nous avions pris la voiture de m’amie. Nous étions arrivé juste à l'heure. Mes amies ont acheté d’alcool mais je suis trop jeune alors je ne peux pas l’acheter. Il y avait beaucoup de chanteurs célèbres et il était très amusant. Mes amies étaient ivres alors nous avons pris un taxi à chez moi. Avec un peu de chance mes parents ne verront pas mes amies ivres et je me coucherai bientôt alors bonne nuit monsieur de journal. Je vous parlerai demain.

despite amie being feminine, it actually uses "mon" because it starts with a vowel, so it should be "mon amie" instead of "m'amie"

Could you elabortate on this, afaik a chez moi also means to my house

i was looking it up to give you a proper explanation and i just learned that it’s a common native mistake to say jusqu’à chez moi, and you should say “jusque chez moi”

otherwise no particular reason other than it sounds more natural to me to use jusque, the calque from the english “to my place” with à doesn’t sound really good
