For (2), what we are seeing is this: [avoir des amis] + aider + [ta santé mentale] where [avoir des amis] is the subject and [ta santé mentale] is the object. « des amis » here doesn't matter in the count, what matters is that verb « avoir » which acts like a noun here. In this case, it's always counted as singular because the onus is on « avoir », not « des amis ». That's why I brought up the English example because it works the same: 'To help others' is a singular subject.
For (6), if « nous » is the subject, then you used the wrong conjugation.
