Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Both are fine actually.
I tend to see the verb in the absolute manner more often. I also saw "récupérer ses/des forces" sometimes.

I feel like "se récupérer" doesn't fit as much in the sentence given by svae, as it's more like physically not stumbling, stabilizing, and not exactly getting back to health 🤔
So it does fit but in a physical context? As if I broke a leg so I say "je me récupére" but if it's for example recovering from fever it would be "je récupére"
This one's really tricky haha
I mean more like "pull yourself together"
