Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

i dont understand

#

like

#

"M. tintin, dont les retentissants démêlés avec les autorités japonaises d'occupation n'ont pas oublié par nos lecteurs" makes sense

#

but if u say dont is connected to démêlés

#

how can u just have nos lecteurs n'ont pas oublié

#

in front

Ther's no rule demanding that the word in the clause dont is related to has to be near it.

L'article dont je viens à peine de terminer l'écriture.
We say "l'écriture de l'article", yet l'écriture is far from dont in the sentence.
