Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
both of those are "au moins"
"du moins" is an expression correcting an exaggeration
He left! At least, I think he did. (you were exaggerating in saying that he left, so you correct yourself)
"au moins" is used for pretty much anything else
Ohhh I think I kinda get it, so it should fit in this phrase, right: "At least, that's what it seems"
This is the phrase that basically started it all haha. I was writing about the situation of a couple (as how it seemed to me, just an insight) so I wanted to express at the end: At least that's what it seems.
And using translator (deepl) it corrected me with "Du moins..."
So is it here indeed DU MOINS?? as If I were correcting the fact that it may be true or not
