Bonjour les questions sont mieux posées dans #salle-de-classe mais wesh ≈ yo
What does "wsh" or "wesh" mean?
For starters, "wsh" is just "wesh" shortened. "wesh" is a word loaned from Arabic that made its way into the French language quite some time ago. The meaning is not the same anymore, so some Arabic speakers can be thrown off by how French people use it. In French, "wesh" is just used like "yo" in English. It can be a greeting, an exclamation, a filler word... It might take you some time to grasp how to correctly use it, but if you know how to use "yo" in English, it should be easier for you to use "wesh" or "wsh" in French. Oh, and of course, it is very much informal.
