Please use this request thread to request the Federal Transporter title.

Transporters get the following benefits from the title:

  • 10% of the index wage while online and actively trading
  • A bonus when selling to the Federal Ports (under planning / construction currently)

Requirements / Rules:

  • This title is for those fulfilling the transporter function who primarily buys/sells goods from one store and delivers to another. Abuse of this title will result in removal of the title and possible fraud charges.
  • This title does not confer an expectation of delivering goods to the federal government. The primary purpose of this title is to help supplement trades that may be less profitable and provide a more stable income to those in the transport role while boosting the movement of goods globally
  • It is not required to deliver any goods to the federal ports - but you do get a bonus for doing so
  • If you wish to leave this role, please also post in this thread for the title to be removed

You have a gathering skill - which being starless is not a requirement for this role, but you don't get the tax exemptions currently for zero-star transporters which may make this less viable.

p.s. I am definitely open to feedback on the tax exemptions for transporters

same point to you - you have the campfire cook skill - you aren't going to get the tax exemptions available to 0-star players

I'm not expressly requiring that you be zero-star, but obviously this makes a question about selling things in your own store and how it conflicts with the nature of this role

So if I understand correctly I would still get an incentive for trading with a federal port, I am unsure about the tax exemptions tbh, I didn't know that was a thing, is this in relation to the 10% wage index?

I see, but as it stands the federal tax is only 5%? So my trading would profits would have to exceed my potential farming gains at the same time

there's 2 taxes you need to be aware of on a federal level

#

5% sales tax and the progressive income tax between 10-20%

#

You should assume a minimum of 15% tax

#

Zero-star specificly is exempt from the 5% sales tax and has a modified income tax that sees store expenses so it only taxes your profit of reselling

I might look into zero star play for next cycle but for now I will withdraw
