Dear Minister of Infrastructure,

thank you for opening the application round for the first bridge on WT43!

Gecko would like to apply for constructing a magnificent marvel of esthetically pleasing modern engineering. While adhering to current standards in aspects of safety, stability and usability, the bridge I propose will be a eye-pleasing addition to our current road network. Connecting the two important trade hubs of this run.

Please find a rough sketch with dimensions and design considerations attached. The Idea is to have each lane at a different height crossing the gap between continents allowing for a small recreation area on the lower level (under the other lane) and a viewing platform on the higher level (above the other lane). As it is with my architectural work, not all feature (besides the fixed ones like minimal road height, structural requirements and safety aspects) are flashed out at the planning stage but will be composed to a full artwork "on the go".

Thank you for the application, its certainly a unique idea as far as white tiger bridges go. With its artistic nature we just want to make sure it will be able to accommodate transmission poles without detracting to much from its design?

this should be no problem at all as the upper deck will have open access to the sky not limiting it's height in any way.

as always, lighting is a huge part of my builds. as such I would like to request additional funding for proper lighting once readily available.

I would like to apply to make a simple concrete bridge ramping up to 12 above sea level before coming back down for the channel west of Doggerland. I understand that it's a secondary priority, so am happy to hold until you're ready for me to move forward.

One more question, what will the primary construction material be? Just looking at what to set the payout to and we are ready to go on this project.

I was hoping for the main pillars to be corrugated steel as it is the next best materials to normal steel. which is not available at this point. the undercarriage will be RC. however at the prospect of morphs availabe from corrugated steel I am tending towards RC for the entire build.

there will be some glass for decoration purposes.

the bumper railing for the roads will be made of corrugated steel

also things like crushed, benches, flower pots, and eventually lights will be needed

Pay out for T4 has been set to 5.5€ if acceptable, looking at the market it looks like reinforced concrete is heading towards 4 to match corrugated steel just below.

Will anyone else be helping with the build for assigning that title?

sounds good. I will be starting tomorrow around noon european time. estimated time for the built will be around 2 days. depending on my availability. probably less.

I was wondering about compensation for tools and labor. is this included in the payout for T4 already?

more so tools than labor really.

Tools etc will be included in the T4 pay out per block, it could be that T4 block prices could have settled a little more by tomorrow as well.

That will have to be handled separately, we could set up a store near by for that or contract a lump sum.

progress report:

• the bridge is structurally completed
• pavement is completed
• safety measures are completed
• decorations will be added as they become available. namely electric lighting, and ashlar
• other missing parts are the tops of the tower.

While talking to me about the recently opened bridge the MoI mentioned another bridge project they would like to see getting worked on as soon as possible.
After some time of consideration and planning I agreed on taking on this project, as well. Thank you for your trust in my abilities MoI Elmeye!

The bridge in question will be constructed east of Unica and will be spanning a much longer distance than the previous one I designed (bridging the little green island strip).
Additional hurdles are an off-ramp in the midsection connecting the Island in between continents to the planned bridge.

In order to not unnecessarily strain the MoI's budget, the bridge will have a much simpler approach then my previous attempt of a bridge (west of Unica). As such so far the only certain thing about the design I can say, is: it will be a bridge.

I would like to add: as this new bridge will be a much larger undertaking, I would appreciate somebody active to help me out. Their help would be limited to placing blocks. I will be doing all the designing.
However, if somebody is interested in taking over this project and can realize it in a timely(!!) manner, I will gladly take a step back and let things happen.

due to law problems encountered during the last 10-or-so hours I did place a total of 960 (1 transport ship) reinforced concrete on the current bridge project without getting compensated by the road payout law. if possible I would like to request compensation for the blocks placed during that time. thank you.

I also placed the same amount of of reinforced concrete (1 full transport ship = 960 reinforced concrete) at the bridge construction site without compensation and would like to request payment

Greetings Starfighters, You have been recruited by the Star LEague.... Sorry I am requesting a federal Engineering Title. I have two modest bits of Ocean to Cross on the road I am building to the East. Unlike my grand cousins to the South due to only skirting the water, I am requesting Navigational exemption for raising the first bridge, and to allow it merely to be supported at regular intervals with round columns as traditonal highway bridges over open lakes are done in real life. There will be rails also naturally. The second still needs to be evaluated, and if it please the government when I get there I will submit a suitable proposal for it. @swift bramble

This is my "Diagram" there isn't much water to cross and it barely even qualifies as Ocean and no Deep Ocean here either. Perhaps if it suits the governments purposes rather than more expensive concrete Mortared stone piers could be used here, since its not deep Ocean.

it's not deep ocean. but it is what you want to use. if you use reinforced concrete for it you can make more. but it's up to you
