Turns out the road law doesn't work if there is no mayor of unica.

I will @ the only other citizens of the state of unica here in a second; if you could vote for me (or anyone really, I'd prefer it was someone else) in the mayor election at http://gs1.play.eco:3041/election/75352621 we can get Unica roads. It looks like @96dwilliams lost Mayor of Unica when they became MP.

I'd like to request the Unica roadworker title. Quite frankly it is a shame how Unica is looking right now at around 1/2 of the expected server run time. What little time I have for playing ECO I'd like to help change that!

@inland kraken What do you think about this interface with Federal Highway instead? Or maybe some other improvement of it? The 6x2 Lumber floors I had before looked kinda bad imo

I think that williams made not the best decision to have the roads so narrow in unica. the entry could be improved by using those little islands in the middle of the road. where peds can cross. they would probably cover up the ugly transition.

If you want to propose changes to the entrances and you have a specific design in mind, go for it; i can approve changes

I’m not in for widening the asphalt part of the main sections though, i like it now 🙂

We had limited funds and limited traffic when I was first designing. Someone even suggested one way roads only

at this point main roads are almost finished. I think it would not be effective to change the design now. though I'll mess around with the interfaces and see what might work.

Unica Road Workers are eligible to take this contract now, to connect @rosestone to water in Unica. The Contract Board is downtown. The water district is north of town. You will have to bring your own Iron Pipes.

We have received additional funding from the federal government to beautify and improve Unica. As a result, Road Workers will now be paid for an expanded grid of roads in Unica. There was significant concern among the people that our roads were wasteful, so we are not building every zoned road, only focusing on the ones that are used. Please remember that 5 wide roads have no lumber in the design.

Finished the pipe connection contract. Not sure if it's working as intended, since it now says "Removed" in the contracts tab of the economy viewer, but it did let me access the utility area so I guess it's working enough.

No, doesn't seem like it. There doesn't seem to be any way to complete it on my end, though tbf I might be missing something, I haven't used contracts before. I can't find any clickable buttons in the contract interface, though.
