This really helps if you are using the camera in manual, but if you are using shutter speed priority at the concert, you just select the shutter speed you want and the camera will figure out the other two settings for you

I use aperture priority when I’m doing portraits but for concerts I would use shutter priority

Hell, I always use continuous on all my cameras since I hate doing portraits

I carry multiple v30s and v90s cards with me to a show, and like 9 batteries

I can run through three batteries in one show

The rx100 eats through batteries

I also do spot focus and metering

Set it to center

You can do wide if taking group shots and you want an average exposure

And shooting with phone is pretty easy. Just make sure to set your white balance and shoot in raw so you can edit later

All the twice photos on my profile are cell phone shots
