I ordered new shoes this morning. I should've ordered new shoes after the last concert in Minneapolis. I forgot!

even though it wasn't going to be cold enough to warrant it because of how long I knew I was gonna be out there I dressed for subzero weather

I brought my serious business jacket, but kept it in the hotel

-mountain boots, good socks, workout spandex pants, cargos, t-shirt, hoodie, columbia turbo down winter coat, KF94 mask during the day, balaclava. Barely felt anything, it was just annoying with the snow.

The concert Friday, then walking around Chicago all day Saturday, then wearing some pretty high heels for work today oof

but conjecture on my part since I wasn't there.

even with a fallback hotel room or car that's still wild

Well even the right barricade was completely full

I think having shows be a mixture of seated and standing is good imo cause it kind of helps even out people getting front row. Seated shows people can spend their money, standing you can spend your time. This show unfortunately punished the people who got there early cause of the line/security debacle.

I feel there's always a chance of some line randomness. Last year they confused the VIP and hi-wave checkin and the line order was messed up or doubled, but did security checkpoint early so the linne up in the door by section was easier. This time they handled check-in better but I think fouled the security checkpoint stuff a bit along with the door lineup

I was a bit closer in Minneapolis. I only had one row of people really in front of me there. I was like row 4-5 here because of the cluster of security check-in. It was still a good view, though, minus one tall girl's head I had to work around a bit haha
