Is it just me or does underclass hero sound alot like fat lip. The riff the lyrics
Nah the album is just filled with like uncreative thing
Title track
They use a song as a melody like 5 different times
They just use the melody of the house of wolves chorus once lol
honestly sum 41 is so consistent that underclass hero is still really good, the title track especially
yes they do demonstrate a lot of their inspirations in a ton of their songs but thats what makes them so awesome
Only listened to one of their albums in whole so far, and I fuck with them
I really like crazy Amanda bunkface and nothing on my back
Crazy amanda bunkface is great
ive grown off underclass hero more and more
Like it just comes off as so just bleh
It used to be my favorite now it's easily my least favorite and I don't even like it
Yeah ofc it’s not they’re best. Imo that’s chuck because it blends my favorite music styles together and compared to that underclass hero is just a blink album but its still good
i havent listened to any of their albums in a year (i grinded for fmbot globals then kinda stopped lmaooo) but if i had to rank them uh

Fat Lip is an amazing song
it's got a good fuckin melody
it kicks ass honestly
i really gotta check out more by sum 41
You totally should!
i've heard a good few tracks by them thanks to spotify's autoplay (which, gods bless spotify autoplay it's helped me get a grip on my music listening habits and just let things happen)
what's a beginner friendly song by sum 41
they're the one punk band who rejects simplicity lmao
Probably in too deep
All shes got, in too deep, makes no diffrence, underclass hero
in terms of what
Like a song to get someone who isnt a fan to get them to become a fan?
Or something thats easy to play musically?
thanks
Easy to play musically
All she got is pretty easy
pieces is quite easy
with me is very nice
you ain't ever heard of the dead kennedys or the clash lmao
or rkl (rich kids on lsd) or cigar
sum 41 chuck is my favortie sum 41 album
its fantastic
the chorus's thoughout the album are so good
Some say, im not the one, no reason, angles with dirty faces
facts dont forget open your eyes tho
Open your eyes is fantastic
They're breaking up 😭
WHAT
rip to a group of legends
probably because touring is a lot mentally. some of them have kids, especially deryck
Same
yeah but im still very sad. they're a major part of my childhood and i'll probably never see them in concert
they could reunite when their kids get older
either way im gonna stream the hell out of heaven ❌ hell
lol
Rip
Same
My favorite sum 41 album is chuck

The new song ❤️
The music video for it is also dropping in 1 hour and 30 minutes
idk if i should cry or be happy because theyre putting out a new album BUT ITS THEIR LAST ONE

WHAT
unfortunately sum 41 is breaking up at least for the time being but based off this song it seems like they'll go out with a bang
Landmines could easily make it in the top 10
idk yet but maybe
I'll miss this band
What album should I listen too first
im thinking Chuck or dose this look infected but idk
I would recommend all killer no filler
fr
If you like American Idiot or 21stCB, I'd suggest "Underclass Hero"
k ive herd like 1 deep cut from it
same
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tc4i31eWB0 another new sum 41 song dropped

Listening to it right now
album cover looks shit but the songs are good
ye
Heaven and hell is better then chuck and all killer
Chuck is superior
exists wtf
rip heaven or ohio

screaming bloody murder
cause im in too deeppp
sum 41 mentioned!!
happy birthday to aknf
superiority
uhh hell naw
its official, cum 41 has won
lmao all my favs are in B tier
now wait a min pain for pleasure honestly kinda bangs tho
i do have famously low standards
i think
and i know its a joke song and all
but i mean
its funny for what it is
I have listened to P4P a ton.
It's not good.
The bass is weird, the vocals are fucked, and it just doesn't hit.
let me guess, DTLI fan?
Ny favorite albums are Underclass Hero and Heaven x Hell
aight that's pretty valid
I'm curious what people think, it's pretty new, what's the proclaimed "best of heaven x hell"?
I think it'd be:
Waiting On A Twist Of Fate
Landmines
Dopamine
Radio Silence
Rise Up
Stranger In These Times
Over The Edge
You Wanted War
Johnny Libertine should be on there imo
nevermind i listened to screaming bloody murder thats now my fav sum album
That's one of Jason McCaslin's favourites, too. You got good taste. Favourite track?
probably What Am I To Say
That was the first one I gave a crack.
Personally I love Holy Image Of Lies.
yess i love that one too
blood in my eyes and skumfuk is my fav
Chuck is my fav
That's the fan favourite
Any particular song from Chuck that strikes your fancy?
For me it's Noots.
88 and noots
imo Dopamine is just alright, would definitely replace it with Johnny Libertine or I Can't Wait
I can't wait is slop
Dopamine is very charged and is pretty meaningful
Johnny Libertine is fun but it has very little to it.
I can't wait slaps*
its prob because i just like to turn my brain off lmao
Exactly
it's slop
It's just Sum 41 playing, which on one hand, is good because they're a good band.
But you can tell that it definitely was an amalgamation of songs that were not cooked enough to release.
Probably from AKNF and Half Hour era.
I hope there is a Heaven X Hell b-sides album
even if it's just acoustic versions, it'd be cool.
though some extras that didn't quite make the cut would be great
Heaven x hell feels so repeated idk
All the riffs and "catchy" lines feel like deja vu
Idk i just get a feeling like ive heard it before
Sum 41

Sum 69 is nice but still
is waaaaaaayyyyyyy superior
the sums is better than sum 69
guys whats your favorite sum album
screaming bloody murder and underclass hero
Same
G'day lads! I found out Dopamine from Heaven X Hell is not very favourably looked upon by many Sum 41 fans, what do you guys think?
eh i dont like it that much
Hello! And welcome to the first video of my new youtube channel! Thank you for watching! Let's take a trip down memory lane and watch Sum 41's very first TV performance from the late 90s. Enjoy!
Its alright

Hello Skumfuks! I'm wondering if anyone had an opinion on the bridges in Rise Up, I think the bridge at 1:10 is way worse compared to the bridge at 2:09, any other opinions?
me
G'day again fellas, I'm actually wondering about something, Sum 41 does song sequals pretty often, how many songs do you believe are connected? I'll give some examples:
What we're all about - Fat Lip
In Too Deep - Underclass Hero
Baby You Don't Wanna Know - Heads Will Roll
T.H.T - Never Wake Up - A.N.I.C
Dear Father - Never There
Fake My Own Death - Stranger In These Times.
i’d say waiting on a twist of fate-bad mistake
those two are not even slightly alike
most of the songs you said aren’t either 💀
at least the one i said directly mentions the other
it's not about direct references it's more their inherit style.
In Too Deep and Underclass are both headlining pop punk songs described as "jumping songs"
What We're All About and Fat Lip are both Rap Rock songs dedicated to showing what Sum 41's style is
Baby You Don't Wanna Know and Heads Will Roll both are rock and roll songs with a clapping track in the back.
THT Never Wake Up and ANIC are a trilogy they play live, you can look it up.
Dear Father and Never There are both about Deryck's father, moreso his lack of one.
Fake My Own Death and Stranger In These Times because an unusued 13 voices riff was reused in the song that was meant for Fake My Own Death.

The Blame Canada Tour
The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA
Guess you guys noticed : same instrumental you heard in the second preview, even if it's been a little speeded up plus some rhythmics' been added.. So : guess I'm pretty safe telling you this is clearly a future song from this next album..
that’s not what you said, you said songs you believe are CONNECTED
i’d say using the same lyric for a chorus connects them quite well
Semantics.
My examples make it clear I meant style and genre.
I see how on face-value reading that makes you think that, but don't understand how you read the examples and still think that's the meaning.
your only link for underclass hero and in too deep is they’re “jumping songs” while your link for dear father and never there was the topic of deryks father, my link was the topic of the twist of fate, WOATOF is the before , and how he can’t spend forever waiting for change, where as bad mistake is the latter, after all that time spent, and how it doesn’t end up well for him, and ends up being a bad mistake, if you’re gonna link dear father and never there based off their topic, you then can’t say that the 2 i said doesn’t work either
while I forgot to elaborate, the similarities about Dear Father/Never There for further than WOATOF/Bad Mistake. The topics are the same, versus you thinking the topics sequence after each other, that's different. Even after listening to Bad Mistake, I do not understand how these sequence together well enough to consider them sequals.
Waiting On A Twist Of Fate seems to be about a punk kid waiting to his life to finally change from what I see people understanding the song as.
Bad Mistake seems to be about a relationship gone bad, with some choice badly effecting the two.
And to add to the link between Dear Father and Never There, they're both similar in genre, a ballad. Bad Mistake sounds western, while WOATOF is a speed metal and pop punk blend, they sound nothing like, quite honestly, being on the same record got me confused.
Underclass Hero
Speak of the Devil
I just realized that the chorus of The Jester is basically "Mama" by MCR
And the verse of No Reason is "One Step Closer" by Linkin Park
ive always said it was the house of wolves chorus
The opening of Heart Attack and What's My Age Again? Are pretty much the same.
It is death how there wasn't another album or even original B-side in Order In Decline's style.
All Order In Decline's writing left-overs were reused for hell, with a little bit of 13 voices sprinkled in there, and don't get me wrong, I love hell, it's fun and unique, but nothing will ever sound as good and be as good to me as Order In Decline just for how good its base sound is.
I don't like OID a lot that might be an unpopular opinion😭
Order In Decline's public perception is a bazar case.
It did bring a different, more metallica crowd to Sum 41's fanbase who never even heard of In Too Deep, it did also alienate a lot of other people who were there some hard rock or pop punk.
While there were some people, like me, who love all 3. Even if I put metal above all else.
Objectively, the album is well produced, refined, and well-made. But if you don't like it. That's fine.
Really, it's personal preference.
I thank Order In Decline for breathing a new kind of light into Sum 41, while I do feel sympathy for people who like other albums and not Order In Decline.
It seems to be liked more than it isn't though, so I guess ur in the minority, though I don't think anyone will be that pressed since it is very different from everything else they've made, including 13 voices.
I don't like the heavier sound a lot except for a few songs like Out For Blood
And Never There is my favorite from there
Oh yeah i confused those two mcr there for a second, you're right
I think some ppl dislike it because of its themes of the US government of 2019
Now granted far from the first time they discussed politics
But wasn't as strong or as outward as oid was at times
I love Never There, it's so relatable and means so much to me ❤️
Such a beautiful song, I love how in the later records Deryck was more willing to touch upon his personal life and struggles in the hopes it'll reach and help others.
Dear Father from Underclass Hero is the about the same topic too, the Dad Deryck never had. Never fails to bring a smile to my face to see people enjoying my personal favourite album by Sum 41.
Hope all is well for you. 🙏
I love Dear Father
One of my favorite songs
Underclass Hero is like my 3rd favorite album of all time though so I'm very biased
Yeah, Dear Father also speaks to me in that regard
Congratulations Skumfuks!
For the second time this record we've hit Number One on Rock Radio for Heaven X Hell!
This hasn't happened this since Underclass Hero.
The band has stuck a cord with Heaven X Hell, I'm extremely glad to see the world enjoying a band so dear to I, and thousands of others hearts!
I relistened to Order In Decline. It's actually a lot better than i remembered
Deeply regret saying this
It's really good
That is amazing to hear, Sum 41's heavier side wins again!
What's your notable tracks?
The New Sensation and Catching Fire are probably my favorites from the album now
The music video of catching fire made me straight up cry,
The new sensation's opening drop is an experience.
Hi
happy birthday to underclass hero
Ladies and gentlemen of the underclass!
Underclass Hero was poorly received by Sum 41 fans who were worried about Sum 41 sterilizing themselves in favor of popularity.
Now, Sum 41 fans consider Underclass to be a necessary and quite good entry in the band library, a transitional period that brought millions more to the band.
Wow i didnt even know that
Tbh by far my favorite album by them
same
Underclass Hero has a very unknown B-side named "Take A Look At Yourself"!
It was B-sided due to it being too similar to "welcome to the black parade" by MCR.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4y7Hy_taR0
One of my person choices for that album, behind Pull The Curtain.
Sum 41 - Take a Look at Yourself (Bonus Track)
All rights reserved to Sum 41
it’s very similar to like 3 songs lmaoo
WTTBP, Letterbomb and another
yo! I don't believe I've ever heard those, the reason why it was b-sided was the MCR comparison, interesting to hear.
We're the same was b-sided due to how it was too different to the rest of the record, Cone had written it instead of Deryck and they both loved the track, but their label still didn't like how different it was tonally. Good track, Cone approved!
honestly
it gives me good intro vibes
i get why they thought it didnt fit but still
Hell yeah that's what b-sides are for.
They're for songs that don't quite fit the record but the artist believes is good enough in another respect.
oh wow ill listen to that later
Some underclass hero b-sides like that one and No Apologies are region blocked for me on spotify
i realised one of the riff sounds similar to american idiot's opening riff lol
It sounds a lot like Letterbomb
man overboard and american idiot
yeah man overboard
but i don’t hear american idiot
i hear letterbomb
bridge riff, 2:11
this
happy birthday to dave brownsound
Brownsound's rocky road for a talented man has been triumphant. From starting as the averge skate punk kid making funny accents to being 1# in the span of 1 year along with his partners ending with a Juno award in his possession. After leaving 2005-2016, he returned, only sounding better from his harsh practice as a solo musician, while still to this day that 11 year gap lead to some of the least listened to music I've seen, all ended well, with Order In Decline and Heaven X Hell having some of the best riffs ever made by mankind.

this is a highly underrated Acoustic Version of Out For Blood, it's amazing in so many ways.
Hello skumfuks! this is a compilation of all the Acoustic Versions of songs I could find in reasonable quality, if any of you have found any high quality acoustic versions, do post!
My personal choices are No Brains, Fat Lip, and Catching Fire.
I found really well made sum 41 video
Sophmore slump be damned. For the 3rd episode of the Sum 41 Retrospective, we take a look at the band's heavier second album, Does This Look Infected.

So you LOVE LOVE LOVE Sum 41 but you have a blink profile pic?
just need stevo to perform pain for pleasure for the last time
Have u seen his youtube channel
Yes. Because I like multiple bands at the same time
Fair
Yes
I like sum41, blink182 green day ghost weezer avenged sevenfold Radiohead misfits gbh simple plan smashing pumpkins nirvana
Nice
simple plan fan spotted!!
There's a simple plan thing but no one uses it
Also is the "ø" an LP reference?
No, it was already there before the LP thing
But i also like Linkin Park so it's a nice coincidence
I'm excited and scared about it at the same time
All that and it's probably a merch drop or something
It's possible, but they've done merch drops and they didn't make this big of a deal.
It's probably a little bit more
I thought maybe a 20th anniversary but they didn't release anything in 2004
A homage to the punk rock genre, The Offspring, Sum 41, and Simple Plan all sang the classic "Why Don't You Get A Job?"

Canadian twink Deryck Whibley
it's called accurate.
storming through the basement like my name was el nino
chuck is gonna turn 20 on october 12 this year
Chuck! With undertones of African war along with the amazing flavour of Metallica added, the fan favourite album was released to universal praise. (except for music critics but they aren't people). Chuck Rules! Named after the legendary United Nations Peacekeeper that saved them from peril.
i agree theyre not people
like wdym critics like radiohead but hate screaming bloody murder..
Trying to get more into sum 41. Recommend underrated songs fr
88
Machine Gun
Heart attack
Hooch
Noots
Take A Look At Yourself
We're The Same
A Murder Of Crows
Heads Will Roll
I Don't Need Anyone
One for every entry.
I don't agree with the idea that 88 is an underrated track considering it is one of the most commonly played songs live. Deryck tries to describe the heavy and pop sides of Sum 41 in a single track, hence Motivation/88.
Ty person
I'm Scott, professional Canadian, number two Sum 41 fan, and insanely into video games.
Also I know the truth about Avril Lavigne
Deryck Whibley used to have a website called Deryckwhibley.net, on the site he loved to share about his partying, antics, and his thoughts, he also posted several demos for songs giving us insight into his brilliant process. One I particularly loved was Open Your Eyes, and for you Underclass Hero fans, you'll find a little surprise at the guitar solo.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khIZqZqg4Cw
Lo único que cambia de la versión final es el solo, el cual fue retomado después para "March of the Dogs"

Count Your Last Blessings
ooh i need to watch that
Am i the only one who loved heaven x hell
Heaven X Hell is critically acclaimed as one of, if not the single best Sum 41 album to ever be released.
The pop punk leading the old fans back to the bands that made them rise up (pun intended) against the astablishment back when they were 19, and the Alternative Metal pleasing the new fans with energetic, memorable, and unique tracks for everyone to enjoy.
better hope steve makes an appearance at the last concert in toronto
According to both Deryck Whibley and Stevo 32 no such plans have been created.
Though Deryck did mention Stevo in an Instagram post like 2 months ago.
Does that mean anything about them meeting up? Doubt it. But it does mean Deryck is not longer allergic to Stevo.
Maybe he'll finally understand Stevo didn't abandon him?
Tonight! Sum 41 did something I didn't appriciate.
I personally have supported Sum 41 some of the most out off every human possible, and today they decided they would stream their live broadcast for 20 Canadian Dollars (about 14USD).
This is an insane price for something that you can get and they have given for free on YouTube.
I've bought their CDs, a sweater, plan to go to a live show, and have streamed their music over 50,000 times.
Asking 20 dollars for this is unreasonable and I do not support Sum 41's decision.
But my guess is it's their greedy label and not really their decision.
But if I find that Deryck approved this then I'm leaking the truth about him.
Deryck. Is. Short!
Deryck Whibley next to his 5'7 wife, Ari.
I love Cone, the man has no idea how to pose for a camera so he blankly stares and its beautiful
He's called Cone because he loves ice cream cones when he was younger, I thought it was because he smoked a fuckload of weed.
Short king
Seeing sum 41 tonight
On the latest episode of Deryck Whibley's Walking Disaster podcast, he talks about he lost a big brick of cocaine at Ozzy Osborne's place in 2001
Now, here is me doing an impression of myself if I was a time traveller from 10 years ago:
Hey guys, did you see how Deryck Whibley almost died? He went on Canadian TV, and he even confirms he only does alcohol and no other drugs, im so glad he's clean on that front. Drugs are terrible!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TibgBjwq1SI&pp=ygUgZGVyeWNrIHdoaWJsZXkgaW50ZXJ2aWV3IGFsY29ob2w%3D
Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley speaks to Deana Sumananc about his struggles with alcohol abuse in the hopes of helping others.
This week is a week of Sum 41 history, as Deryck Whibley's new book straight up accuses Deryck's former manager of things I doubt I am allowed to talk about.
Even worse is Greig Nori denying having done anything, claiming Deryck is a liar and they had an entirely normal relationship with no abuse at all.
Keep in mind Deryck was 16, Greig was 34, and Deryck is a hetrosexual man! Great defense Greig, the facts are in your favor. Everyone believes you.
This is something repulsive and disgusting to find out about, and is sending shockwaves through the Toronto area, where I reside.

Wow, Deryck's new book is filled with so much! Apparantly behind the scenes during the SBM era, Stevo was quite a bit more rude about the breakup than initially thought. Maybe Deryck was right about saying he abandoned him. Seeing a life long friend go must've been tough. Deryck is such a character, I love him, everything he has done, and what he's created for all of us, thank you, and the book is a gift.
Hi again! Here's a list of stuff Sum 41's coming out with
-
an acoustic album
We do not know what kind of songs that will be released, nor what kind of acoustic they'd be, if that be piano or guitar based or even both. -
a documentary
We do not know if it would be a full band history of a Heaven X Hell documentary, either way it's in the works and I hope it includes a ton of stuff. -
final show
The final show will be recorded and 5 hours long. w. -
does this look infected re-production
Deryck doesn't like Infected's production, so he redid it himself, he doesn't have the right to re-release it, but he said he's trying to, this may not happen which would be a shame consider how banger this would be. -
cone produces his own stuff
Not technically Sum 41 related but cone's personal projects are good! He's a cute little twink and show him some love.
will the band do a chuck 20th anniversary album
No. They don't do that they think it's too corperate. They do tour on anniversaries tho.
I found the sum 41 chat
I accidently bought Deryck Whibley's guitar
Acoustic album???!
W?!?
Yes!! According to the number one Sum 41 fan (TomiT14) they have an acoustic album but are waiting for the 'right moment' to release it.
put the 2 X's
and it'll be good
Sad the lowest pop punk band of the big 4
It’s gotta be sad to know that no one cares about you, sun 41 is dead and gone you are the anthrax of pop punk
There's a dial where the top x would be
My favorite is Count Your Last Blessings
Skumfuk, Catching Fire, Handle This, Dear Father, Jessica Kill and Bad Mistake are some other really good ones
Interesting
Best Sum 41 song that be interperated in so many different ways which is why I find this so interesting.
There's the first interpretation which is personal favorite, which I'd have to answer Waiting On A Twist Of Fate, along with it being really unique and created, being Screamo, Melodic hardcore, pop punk, and speed metal all at the same time.
The second is which is on a musical level the most objectively well-crafted song, which I'd have to give to Stranger In These Times due to Deryck contributing that as their best made track, I don't really know how else to judge that.
The third is which has the most mass appeal and majority of people would like, which I'd answer Underclass Hero, I'd say most people would like it. The problem with modern Sum 41 is that it's more specific towards a certain audience due to the vocals, which less people will like overall.
The fourth is which one is the most creative, which I'd give to Holy Image Of Lies for its unprecedented use of a symphony orchestra. Which I'm STILL hoping one day Sum 41 will do a symphony live play like Metallica's S&M.
That's my interpretations.
Dude really is chat gpt
smart ≠ ai
Nice to someone who loves stranger in these times to
I’m inclined to say No Reason
but probably not and it’s just my personal favorite
Anyone remember the SK8 X Sum 41 collaboration? Cause I didn't either.

heaven x hell sounds hella repeated
after all killer no filler and does this look infected alot of sum 41's songs felt like deja vu
the riffs and the lyrics all felt like ive already heard them in another one of their songs
not saying their bad but at some point every band will lose that creativity and they js milk the same phrases/riffs
heaven x hell MID
Fighting words, I respect that.
But I am surprised to hear you specifically point out AKNF and DTLI as unique and anything else from that, as directly after was Chuck which a lot of influence from their darker minds after experiencing something so traumatic. AKNF has many repeated riffs, like Heart Attack being What's My Age Again?'s riff.
Chuck is filled with uniqueness, with a little Linkin Park in there. Underclass has some MCR influence and a song was even B-sided because of that, but the idea that influence means stealing is quite insulting and I think really disrespectful to the art. How humans think is we are good are combing two things into one. Deryck probably thought "damn, this emo style would go really well with some of my already written material" And we KNOW it was already written material due to Open My Eyes's original solo being March Of The Dog's riff and Cone also saying Underclass was already well on its way before Baksh left.
SBM was a trauma-filled original piece and I don't even know what to compare it to. Even for that, Cone took more of a writing role, which is why some songs don't sound the same as Deryck's usual writing style which is pretty unique in itself, did you even notice that?
13 voices. Ok yeah that one was widely unoriginal I will concede on that. It's also not an album I like, too.
But Order In Decline being unoriginal to HELL WITH YOU. That has such a unique sound I have been looking for an artist that makes music like that album good HEAVENS please hell me where you find these riffs originate from because I'd love to hear it.
HxH is a lot of old material with some new pop punk. Landmines is their old style, and even includes some non-played sound which I like a lot. And stuff like WOATOF is a blend of melodic rock, pop punk, and speed metal, where have you heard something like that? And the metal they play is pretty fast for Hell, and even has metalcore influence which is a unique position, where's hella repeated from?
to continue this, Ludacris did a something with Ludacris because he loves to work with different music to elevate his music, really cool stuff.

Hi, my name is Scott, I love video games, poutine, and Sum 41.
I wanted to write this because I found Sum 41 is playing in the city I grew up in, Adelaide, Australia. At 17 I moved out of home alone. Sum 41 was the first taste of Canadian soil before I reached there, and I really appreciate them for that. And now they're coming to the very place I was born. It's nice.
A concept for Order In Decline's cover has been surfacing and I prefer it.
Album tier list:
- Chuck
- Does This Look Infected?
- Order In Decline
- All Killer, No Filler
- Screaming Bloody Murder
- Underclass Hero
- Heaven x Hell
- 13 Voices

Front row video I took of Sum 41 performing “Noots” for the very 1st time live at the OVO Wembley Arena in London, United Kingdom. I own no rights to this song. All rights to this song belong to Sum 41.

NOOTS LIVE
IT HAPPENED
GUYS
Noots live is crazy
It’s by no means bad it just has to go somewhere
yo! I made a video about my Sum 41 streak which ended at 47,000, I'd appriciate it if you sent it some love.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW4dzys7XOI
This is a video dedicated to my favorite band and showing their impact, I had a 47,000 streak of Sum 41 and planned to get it to 60,000 but was cut short due to how much it was impacting my relationship. My friend saw a previous version of this video and said I was "cooking", so I decided to make a 3rd version, being this one. If you're reading ...
never said order in decline was unoriginal
never said any of their songs were stolen
i very clearly said they felt repeated as in ive heard the same riffs FROM sum41
didnt say i felt like ive heard them else were
just thought alot of their songs (NOT ALL) felt like some others
and a crap ton of bands have thst but i noticed it most in sum41
and i honestly never knew they based riffs/songs off other already made songs cuz im too slow to realize that
It's literally true it is by far their most critically acclaimed album😭
the white border reminds me of underclass hero
also this song is a banger
imagine they play pull the curtain live
Pull the curtain, being a song about insomnia, being the 2nd song about that, it's considered one of the best off of Underclass Hero.
It's in a strange point, being barely played live due to it being not as popular as the "big three" (being Underclass Hero, Walking Disaster, and With Me), since already enough songs being played off of that album and it not being niche enough to be considered a deep cut makes it unlikely to make an appearance, but far from possible due to their sets being both longer and with stranger choices. Even Noots got repped! And summer's inclusion is a strange one, so maaaybe?? Hopefully.
Cone and deryck are my favorite
stevo and cone my favourite
cone's my choice, even the reason I picked up the bass.
what do you guys think is the most underrated sum 41 song that has never been played live
Never played live is a small list.
Definitely We're The Same for its very small amount of people who have listened to it.
They've never played: astronaut, WW VII, Reign In Pain, Subject To Change, Take A Look At Yourself, We're The Same, Black Eyes, Better Days, and almost half of HxH
I saw that on the Reddit that sick
Subject to change is a banger
https://youtu.be/U1jWdpLpRtg?si=_lwrlVOJ_c7JIK_D new stevo vid 🔥🔥🗣
After the success of my last video where I covered the never-before-played live song, "Noots" ... I thought this week I would dive into another bonus track off of "Chuck" that has been heavily requested ... A song called "SUBJECT TO CHANGE".
This song was released as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Chuck and the chorus was later re-us...

For those who don't know, Sum 41 almost made a 7 minute song called "Dark Road Out Of Hell", the song would've talked upon the stages of grief and be their most ambitious project. Unfortunately Sum 41's records at the time, being as terrible as they are said the song was "too long", and told them to split the song into 3 parts. Thus birthing Holy Image Of Lies, Sick Of Everyone, and Happiness Machine. I think I would have rather had it the way it is now, but seeing a 7 minute song could've brought new eyes which Sum 41 really needed during 2011. Some of it was reshuffled, so to anyone wondering what the end of Happiness Machine meant when it says "Now I stand at the end of a dark road out of hell". That's what it means.
Did this just say that SBM was bad
Because I wholeheartedly disagree
No. Unpopular doesn't mean bad.
Sum 41's lowest point was easily 2011 because they were losing record support, Deryck was dying, and Stevo was burnt out and losing his friendship between Deryck.
The music videos for Blood In My Eyes, Baby You Don't Wanna Know, and the "unoffical" Screaming Bloody Murder video were all funded, edited, and produced by Deryck.
I love Screaming Bloody Murder it's just the band was suffering at the time.
Okay I think I misinterpreted the statement ‘the albums at the time, being as terrible as they are’
I see.
its funny that the band doesn't celebrate the 20th anniversary of chuck considering the album was released in 2004
this is probably my favorite album cover of all time
Counterpoint:
I like the other one more
Who’s the person on the cover
Stevo32 is the guy on the cover of Half Hour Of Power
They would but they're on their final tour, and they don't like to do anniversary albums because it's too corpo for them.
as much as I love Order In Decline's tracks, the Avenged Sevenfold cover doesn't work.
I mean yeah it’s not very sum 41-ey but it looks so badass
I actually disagree with it not being sum 41's style, if you look at Sum 41's style, it's more than just pop punk, its pop punk and metal. Its more how there are few colours on a black background, there is no more than just the single focus, which I don't think represents sum 41, even Underclass Hero, while it does have a black background, there is the street behind him, Deryck, and the logo, making a more filled scene which does represent Sum 41.
I think there’s some grammar error stopping me from understanding what you’re trying to say
peak???
I rewrote it to better get my point across.
Now I usually don't rate usernames but that's a 10/10 my brother
🔥
sum 41 my beloved
Exactly
OID’s album cover is very metal
And doesn’t really represent their pop punk stuff

I’ll check it in a bit
imagine SBM music video (not the current one) gets released
im sure cone still has it
I'm assuming you're referring to the SBM music video that was never released that cone claims to have during a Fact Or Fiction interview. This video has been released and is called the Unoffical Screaming Bloody Murder Video.
The current one is this one, so I'm inclined to believe you're mistaken, that video was released.
Whenever I try to find music like Sum 41, I always come accross the same issue, it only is music like their first 3 albums, so I took it upon myself to compile some music I think is similar to Sum 41, it gets progressively heavier, and I tried to include some lesser known songs and artists that I think are pretty similar to Sum 41.

FELLOW SR-71 ENJOYER
I love SR-71
I’m the number one Right Now listener in this server lol
They're a severely underrated band
I like how no matter what blink is somewhere in the top five on anybody's I've seen
yes, I am. But I only started using Spotify in May so there are people with more listens on Spotify than me, but overall I am.
Blink is 3rd on mine thanks to the California album mostly
ohh
But Tom is what makes blink blink
You can't have blink without Tom
And you probably can't have blink without Mark
Untitled and Enema of the State are certainly above it though
And Neighborhoods
Love all of those
My top ones are Untitled, TOYPAJ, and Dude Ranch
TOYPAJ is great too
Not a huge fan of Dude Ranch or Cheshire Cat though personally
Cheshire Cat is kinda rough for me but I love Dude Ranch's vibe
Not mine dw
Replace weezer with blink and it's good
Fuck blink I can’t stand them
Then listen to Box Car Racer
Right now was my most played song
Right now was my #5
Three days Grace will pass it anyway
for next year
+44
+44 is basically just Blink-183
Box Car Racer is undoubtedly hands down with a doubt 100% truly the best side project
blink-144
blink-88
Nope
Lowk the worst lol
+44 is better
If you count AVA thats better too
And Simple Creatures
BCR is still good though
Box Car Racer actually put me in a better place than I was
Without them I'd still be in darkness
Not to sound emo or anything
This is my cat, Austin "Whibley" McElroy.
new sum 41 member
If we showing our year in reviews
Still can't belive bloodbath at burger King was #2 😭
Yfm still makes music?
I didnt know YFM was a thing
Opinion: DTLI? is sum 41’s best work
One of my least favorites to be honest
My favorite is either Underclass Hero or Screaming Bloody Murder
Or Chuck even
That 3 album run was incredible
opinion, the hasty re-recording of DTLI along with only 6 weeks of writing lead to DTLI being sub-par and is my least favorite album because of its sub-par production.
As Deryck once said "I like it, but I hate the way it sounds"
That’s fair
Especially on a song like My Direction you can hear a bit of bad production
But the songs themselves are some of their best
Heaven x hell is underrated/ really good
Agree
It’s alr
My top 3 sum 41 albums are heaven x hell, chuck, dtli
Is it really underrated when it’s their most critically acclaimed album
It is really good though
that would be SBM or UH
DLTI?, Chuck, and SBM are their best works imo
replace DTLI with UH and youre really right
I'd agree with Enzo on how Heaven X Hell is by far their most critically acclaimed album.
Order In Decline would makie sense as their most underrated album as it never got any notable awards but it's one of their best works.
their less popular works are SBM, 13 voices, and OID.
SBM got a grammy nomination so definetly not SBM.
13 voices is overall kinda mid, being their 1st metal outing
Order In Decline is the choice imo.
Idk UH has a few mid things on it imo
DTLI is straight bangers
afromentioned ma poubelle
but tbf, its not that bad
albeit the lyrics is pretty shit (if translated)
idk i consider 13 voices the most underrated
Am i the only one who loves when bands do exprimental albums. Meaning songs are very different kind of
For example. Blink-182 self titled. Green day Nimrod. Sum 41 chuck
that song is a homage to "Battery" by Metallica
No Reason is peak
88 is peak
Open your eyes is peak
fuck it everything is peak
i loev sum 41 weehee
Me when the sum is 41
But what if sum 42
Sum 41 love rapping, if it be around how they trashed their own house party or how much bacon they have in the morning, they NEVER say no to a rap/rock collaboration, leading to Walk This Way, featuring Sum 41.
Sum 41, Nelly, Ja Rule ( Walk This Way) at mtv movie awards
Old times!! great times!!
i am deryck whibley irl
We're both Deryck Whibley but you're also john lennon and I'm also Tom DeLonge
But I am Tom DeLonge
but im deryck whibley wtf
Deryck Whibley has fully recovered from his phuemonia and plans to do the last Canadian tour where I will see them live
W
Apparently frank zummo has a yt channel
out of all the sum 41 members, zummo and steve has a yt channel
Drummer and drummer

I listened to so much Sum 41 im literally off the charts
Chat
Canada man has ascended the charts
Nice
punkest sum 41 songs?
Welcome To Hell
No reason is pretty punky
To the very defenition, Deryck Whibley, to make certain people knew that Sum 41 was still a punk band over emo wrote the song "Take A Look At Yourself", entirely being about punk, it was b-sided due to its insane amount of resemblement to Welcome To The Black Parade by MCR. That has to be the answer I give.
take a look at yourself feels like letterbomb, WTTBP and american idiot combined
Art I made
Sum 41 was added to Fortnite, hope some people discover our beloved band through this collaboration
Im suprised but fortnite festavel has great songs
In order
What are the best to worst songs from Dark Road Out Of Hell
Personally I’m going
Happiness Machine
Sick Of Everyone
Holy Image Of Lies
Happiness Machine
Holy Image Of Lies
Sick Of Everyone
Holy Image of Lies
Sick of Everyone
Happiness Machine
I like Sick of Everyone about as much as Holy Image of Lies
But Happiness Machine drags on for way too long it gets boring
To me it’s one of the worst on that album
Sick Of Everyone
Holy Image of Lies
Happiness Machine
After looking back into the fan favourite Screaming Bloody Murder, I have such a deep, immovable respect for Deryck for able to get his emotions out through his music in such a non-petty way. He was very deeply distraught by his divorce with Avril (he was the sk8ber boi) and he was able to get his emotions out in a very meaningful way without ever directly mentioning divorce of Avril, the songs where he indirectly mention her are:
Happiness Machine
Holy Image Of Lies
What Am I To Say
Blood In My Eyes
While that's a lot of the album, he still talks perfectly about the different thoughts, and gets a few screams out, and for anyone wondering, Jessica Kill is a song that does not reference Avril, he says in a few different after-stage interviews that the song is about a large amount of people in co-dependent relationship and at no point did he ever consider him to be co-dependent with her....though I do understand the backing vocals may give the Avril impression.
I JUST WANNA FEEL YOU-
interesting i never realized these songs are about the divorce
for some reason i thought their divorce was in like 2006/2007 instead of 2009
God Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Sum 41 live in the same week, im gonna literally explode from how amazing it'll be
Is SBM even a fan favorite
i was actually gasping when i say Green Day MULTIPLE times in the shop dude
SBM is the fannest-favourite.
The top 3 fan favourites from what I've seen is:
- SBM
- Chuck
- HxH
The reason why I like how it's these 3 is because that means they accept both the old and new from the band, rare.
I guess for hardcore fans I could see it
On popularity alone it’s AKNF, Chuck, and DTLI I think
Close!! AKNF, DTLI, Underclass.
Underclass?
Never the less (imma dress for the occasion), when considering the deeper fans, it's those 3.
RIAA is Americans!! Canadians don't like those!!
what did we do to you
FYM
us Americans love you Canadians
Yeah no in terms of copies sold it was AKNF, DTLI, and Chuck
I don't personally hate Americans, I'm even living with my American boyfriend, but most of Canada has an anti-American sentiment
Chuck sold 1m in the US alone which was more than UH as a whole
Oh you mean copies, I was going by amounts of songs that went high on da charts
On charts it was UH, AKNF, and DTLI in that order
I'm still pretty convinced HxH will go pretty far and keep the bands relevance for a while
HxH doesn’t interest me that much tbh
I think I’m definitely a heavier Sum 41 kind of person
My top 4 are
SBM
DTLI
Chuck
OID
But 13 voices was objectively mid
But your opinion is valid
okay nvm that's a good take
I love the songwriting of DTLI but the mix and production is not great
13 Voices was the angsty teen of Sum 41's discog, while i wouldn't call it bad, I would reckon that it's the weakest of sum 41's discography, with the most nothing-burgers of their discog.
I like A Murder Of Crows, Fake My Own Death, and 13 voices.
fake my own death was good
But even comparing Murder Of Crows, it's not even in my top 20 Sum 41 songs.
Also the writing is god awful
I will die on the hill that the hell song is one of Sum 41’s best songwriting moments
I don't get how SBM's writing can be SO MEANINGFUL and Order In Decline's hit so hard, yet the album in-between is just bad.
EXACTLY
The Hell Song is a brilliantly written song, and the 6-week deadline on DTLI only made Deryck think harder, and luckily the person the song is based on is doing okay.
A lot of DTLI is written great
the main exceptions I can think of is ANIC and No Brains
My personal favourite when it comes to the writing is We're The Same, a Screaming Bloody Murder B-side
but ANIC is intentionally not great
I don't know why I do it but I quote Sum 41 songs whenever I'm helping someone with their mental issues and more times than not I've helped them
sum 41 got me through straight up depression so I believe it
SBM and DTLI in particular
what about those like uhhh
songs
on the 13 voices b side
better days and black eyes?
i liked those :PP
Am i the only sum 41 fan who does not like Does This Look Infected that much
to me its like
decent at best
Better Days is basically unfinished
Black Eyes is amazing and has great writing
Actually, I agree! It's my 2nd least favourite (but still in my top 15 albums of all time because sum 41 is the best), I think it has to do with the mediocre production detailed by Deryck:
https://www.kerrang.com/deryck-whibley-on-sum-41s-does-this-look-infected-i-like-it-i-just-hate-the-way-it-sounds
I’m glad i’m not the only one who thinks DTLI sounds
Weird
I like still waiting, over my head and no brains though
Valid. I LOVE this live album version of No Brains, it's like double time and they even add some parts that didn't get into the original, and just overall is my favourite.

A.N.I.C is considered the worst off DTLI
I disagree, song is song.

The Bitter End is my favorite song on Chuck
I don't like this video for one reason, there is The Bitter End on Master Of Puppets.
It's called Battery.
fuck it
100% ready to be executed for this
btw the tiers are ordered (more left = higher on the tier)

Far from uncommon opinions dw
i'd place back where i belong to A and sick of everyone to S
Very much understandable
Phew
not a bad ranking if you put happiness machine in C and crash in S
fair enough
anyway!
i did like a shit ton of songs
just rn
btw the tiers aren't ordered like at all
Dear Father in C is diabolical
😔
apologies for the dissapointment...
i like it but i never really have it on repeat
shit i already am seeing some placements i have doubts on

In today's video I talk about one of my biggest drumming influences... the one and only, Tre Cool!
Green Day's Dookie came out RIGHT after I started playing the drums and Tre's style had a massive influence on me... He's an absolute legend onstage and off.
I talk a little bit about Tre and I also play one of my favourite songs by Green Day.

Hello, I get people hooked on Sum 41 like it's cocaine, but I initially came across the problem. "sum 41 has made a lot of music, what do I recommend?"
So I constructed an 8 minute playlist of just 2 songs.
I introduce to you, Happiness Machine/Underclass Hero, designed to get people hooked on Sum 41.

Dang

have fun!
Operation M.D!!!
Holy shit I forgot about this
Mostly a joke, Operation M.D was a collaboration project with our great Canadian Cone and he says he's open to continuing it after Sum 41's done.
Tour of the Setting Sum is officially over
It's done.
It’s so over
It got good songs 👍👍👍

Less than 1 week without sum 41 im already feeling it
😭
Me too
Okay I've had this question for a while, which Sum 41 member do you think is the most attractive?
in my humble opinion, it's cone. But I am curious if i'm alone in that.
Cone yeah
I actually disagree, being 50 and still moving and looking like that, he just doesn't have that boyish look that cone has sustained. I like both ends, Deryck is still a super good looking guy.
he's doing amazing for a guy that almost died from alcohol
Either cone or brown sound
Dave baksh to me has grown up and looks better now than he used to
Majority of these I think people would agree with me, I also think there are some opinions here some people won't agree with. I'm gonna say it outright, I don't think DTLI is very good.
damn, you didn't like twisted by design?
I have a sum 41 discord if u wanna join :)
Anybody here if u wanna join dm me
War is lowkey the only song on 13 voices i regularly listen to
what did pieces and crash do to you😨
I have many complaints
Why is CYLB not top
Motivation, all messed up, 88, were all to blame, no reason, my direction, and rhythms are all top tier
Pieces has no vibe for me, while it talks aboot being a loner, in a depressing way, I can't help but think the song is just too damn fast, I can't vibe with it.
Crash, while having an extremely tragic backstory of Deryck witnessing a car crash and seeing someone die, I think crash is far too simple.
ohh
Crash is simple but i feel like i’ve seen way too many people hate on it, I really like it
I need to do that tierlist
Motivation is too loopy.
All Messed Up is too loopy.
88 is put higher for the high highs, but there are some pretty low lows in that song, I do not like it, at least the part in motivation/88 is one of my favourites. On a side note I don't know what the songs name means, it could either mean the Chinese lucky number, or a neo nazi call sign, I think it's the Chinese one but it could go either way with some of the lyrics.
We're All To Blame, tbh, i'd put higher if I went back.
No Reason is overrated. Bite me.
my direction is too loopy.
Rythms is too loopy.
I'm curious, I love Exit Song, I think it's Crash but better because it's atmospheric and sounds excellent, what do you think of Exit Song?
Reason to believe is better
i like it but to me it’s the weakest song on SBM
It’s still on my playlist though
All songs on sbm are
meaning of 88 is basically the RPM of the song
A true testament to how great SBM is.
Not my favourite but a top 3 without a doubt.
Sum 41 honors their forefathers, if a Metallica tribute in the form of The Bitter End, or if that be how they honor the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley in the form of Baby You Don't Wanna Know and it's unofficial sequel, Heads Will Roll.
Rock and Roll was the start of modern rock, where Sum 41 lies.

Sum 41 Always is better then blinks
subject to change is better than underclass hero
true
True
I just think the demo versions of Sum 41 in general go really hard and appeal to a more metal audience and I find it kind of crazy they never made an album using their "demo style". Sum 41 albums take a pretty large amount of time all things considered. They pumped them out real quick at the start of the bands history but after SBM there is a 5 year gap between every entry. I think it holds insanely true a demo style album after 13 voices but before Order In Decline would've made sense.
I just dont like the verse sections of underclass
true
Is this a rage cover?
It’s the song that has the line
“I’m deep inside your children”
Second to last of the first block
Rage songs are quite heavy
Yeah
To celebrate the greatest Canadian band winning an excellent Canadian award on this fine Canadian day, I made the great Canadian poutine with crumbed chicken. Pure maple leaf gluttony.
The thing about this cover is that I think Deryck is trying too hard to sound like ZDLR
But I gotta give it to Tom and Dave for those guitar tones
Tom Morello’s tones are not easy to cover

They should have done stranger in these times video
I do find it quite strange they decided to make 3 Heaven music videos and 1 Hell video
If chuck had subject to change, and always it would be even beeter
Subject to Change feels like No Reason 2 and I think No Reason is a better song
while the song wouldn’t hurt the album at all if left in, I don’t think it’s necessary
Always sounds nothing like Chuck, if it had Always it'd be very panned for being too different.
Subject to change is closer but ehhhhh honestly I think that a Chuck demo style album should've been made cuz it's a good and refined sound in its own right
And there are LOTS of demos and even unseen ones, open your eyes, Subject to change, and even we're all to blame partially was shown along with Its All Me from HxH was a Chuck demo
I really think Always should’ve been on Underclass Hero
Even if as a bonus track
Probably their most underrated song to me
they should release the bonus tracks on spotify globally
I agree
The hell song is high key my favorite song by them
The Hell Song is an excellent choice! Being one of their most meaningful songs about a friend of the band contracting HIV, its one of the most commonly played live songs and is touted as the only properly produced song on Does This Look Infected? Excellent choice even though I think there is far better
well....
mcr and sum 41 in the same image 😱😱😱👅

Happy 12 anniversary to Chuck!
wait omg sum 41 thread hello
hello there
hello
just to clarify u havent listened to any full sum 41 album right?
aight bet
what music platform u use?
spotify
thanks
i rlly like chuck
but i also haven't listened to their entire discography yet
underclass hero is cool too and yeah all killer no filler ofc
I like over my head dudes also I’m somewhat late😭
Chuck
Chuck is so good
Chuck is so peak it's in my top 5 albums of all time
WHAT YOU HATE CHUCK

Is that not the concept of the album?
wdym
what
my dad turned 41 on friday 🥹
Both have some really good tracks tbf, I will give the edge to Underclass for putting me in a better mood every time
AKNF certainly could've been better, out of everything, Deryck Whibley only speaks on regretting the mixing and stands by everything else on the album, which I respect deeply, though I think the idea that In Too Deep is the only hit is wrong. Fat Lip is amazing and Motivation hits the spot sometimes, I do recommend listening to some of the more recent live versions of AKNF songs as they redo a lot of it and I prefer it a lot since they're so much more skilled 20 years after it was released.
Depends are we talking opinion or overall popularity
Overall
Then it would be all killer no filler according to popularity, does this look infected? would be considered the best sounding
the second album u mentioned sounds really metal imo except for a few tracks such as "my direction"
Chuck has more songs that sound metal to me than Does This Look Infected? to me
i havent yet listened to chuck in full yet so idk
You should definitely listen to it in full! It's a great album
im midway thru it lemme see what song i was at
oh ye i think i was just finishing "some say"
I love that one!
One of the songs on that album (The Bitter End) is considered to be quite possibly Sum 41's heaviest song
i mightve listened to that song but idk
ive been listening to a lot of blink 182 (ik wrong forum but i just wanted to mention it to explain why i havent yet listened to "chuck" by sum 41 in full)
Chuck is my favourite album in the English language not by Green Day
I honestly really like Heaven :x : Hell and Chuck
is nice
I met Frank Zummo today!
this forum be like:
crickets
but honestly tho thats pretty cool
That's awesome!
Sum 41: Hey Green Day can I copy your homework?
(Homework being american idiot)
Green Day: Yeah sure but dont make it too obvious.
Sum 41:
Jokes aside, this is easily my least favorite sum 41 album
Chuck and Order in decline in my opinion
Both are perfect albums
Can a punk rock drummer step into another band’s world—and pull it off in under an hour? In this challenge, Sum 41’s drummer takes on one of Green Day’s most ambitious songs: “Jesus Of Suburbia.” With only a short window to listen, learn, and perform, we put Frank Zummo's instincts, memory, and punk rock chops to the test.

sum 41 is amazing
Yes
We can’t be on stage right now, so let’s go back to Reading Festival 2018 for a little bit of "Faint" with Mike Shinoda.
A little back story to this performance. We had only decided to perform this song together about a week before the show. We had no rehearsal whatsoever. On the day of the show we were stuck at customs coming into the UK a...
Awesome
bro tf does the brick emoji mean
someone wanted a sum 41 thread so here's a sum 41 thread
I've only listened through Order in Decline and the one before that but I liked them both
YES SUM41
FINALLY
sum 41 😍
i only know 2 underrated songs: so long goodbye and there will be blood
Lego
does this look infected is such a banger album
Yes, but Chuck is a fucking banger too 😭
true
for me chuck is really nostalgic, i remember my older brother used to play 'some say' (or something, ive forgotten at this point since its been a while since i listened to it) a lot in the car when i was really young, and it was sometimes stuck in my head until i actually re-found the song in 2020 or 2021
Whouaa incredible
yeah chuck's amazing
chuck is my favrotie album ever os
chuck is so good but all of their albums are amazing
Yesss of course, SUM 41 is a fucking banger 😭💜
Dave Brownsound is an amazing Guitarist. And I will stick by that for the rest of my life
it's kind of cool that they're punk but can shred, do metal covers, and get heavier with their modern songs
Exactly
dave is really good live
i went to a sum 41 show the guitar solo on in too deep was so much better live than studio
I think I might see them live later this summer when they come to my city
they got sold out near me which kinda sucks
Fax
mien is prob sick of everyone
might give that one a listen soon
hell song
Fat Lip
my favorite is tied between billy spleen and hyper insomnia para condrioid or whatever its called
Fart
Never there is top tier
summer is rly great i think
facts fat lip is probably my #2 sum 41 song
fat lip is a banger and is the song that got me into sum 41, it makes sense why its one of their most popular songs
it's so freaking cool how sum 41 has rapping in their songs like that, thrash metal elements in grab the devil by the horns, shreddy solos, and heavier sound as they make new releases
i feel so bad for getting into them so recently i shouldve checked these guys out sooner
i heard something about a new album?
yeah they are making a new album called heaven and hell
heaven will be classic pop punk
hell will be the heavier punk metal stuff like on chuck and SBM
it will most likely release this year and is almost done, however no tracklist or singles or anything is online
oh dope
YES
