This is what you want, this is what you get.
Flowers of Romance > Second Edition > This is What you Want > First Issue > everything else

https://open.spotify.com/track/5i1BeA59H8JlSw5HQXQKpB ATTACK, A T T A C K
probably my 4th favorite song on first issue, behind fodderstompf, public image, and theme
i listened to a few songs and thought it was good
im starting to appreciate a lot more post punk
i listened to daydream nation by sonic youth and i appreciate it a lot more now
a lot of albums i appreicate more now
albums i like a lot more now
revolution radio by green day
blink 182s neighborhoods
based.
their first 3 albums you all need to hear
debut is directionless but has good songs, metal box/second edition is dubby and metallic and flowers of romance is fucking weird
other post-punk albums you need to hear
Remain in Light by the Talking Heads
Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Meat Puppets 2 by the Meat Puppets
Zen Arcade by Husker Du
London Calling by the Clash
Marquee Moon by Television
are the other albums listenable
the first album is good
4th is decent, 5th is mediocre, 7th and 8th are listenable at best and the rest makes your ears cry
would u consider some of radioheads stuff post punk?
inspired by post-punk but in itself i dont get most of those vibes
no
the bends
pablo honey is more of a bad attempt at noise/indie rock and the bends is a bit more refined than that
id consider radioheads first 3 albums as alt rock
ok
back
yay
ok
i like the song rise
the album it's on is mediocre, rise is great though
i think the first album is my favorite
the guitar tone on the song public image tho
also
i watched beavis and butthead and rise was one of the songs i saw when watching it
mine is flowers of romance
first issue is probably the most "normal" of the big 3 and it still has fodderstompf
flowers is by far the most experimental
