Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan are the metal masterminds behind the band Slipknot. But today these bandmates have two choices: Tell the truth, or suffer the wrath of the Last Dab. Whoever eats the most wings, loses!

From Corey's favorite musical, to Clown’s true feeling about other masked musicians, these friends will either need to be h...

I wanna just say, Joey is fucking awesome, and whenever I feel discouraged as drummer, anytime I hear his playing (especially on blister or left behind) he always inspires me to play

I was listening to music while making dinner last night and when slipknot came on my mom said it was “giving her anxiety” so i think that means its good

vol.3 ranked (hard btw)

  1. Duality - iconic and goated
  2. Before i forget - it's literally impossible to hate this song if you like metal
  3. Pulse of the maggots - this is a live ANTHEM with a dope ass beginning/solo
  4. The Nameless - love the contrast on this song, very underrated (corey's voice slaps+sid doing dj)
  5. The Blister Exists - good beginning, marching drum, chorus, EVERYTHING
  6. Vermilion - dope lyrics and vocals, everyone loves this one
  7. Circle - a very underrated acoustic song, that chorus is so good
  8. Don't Get Close - nice riff, good to listen to when pissed and you need space
  9. Three Nil - freaking love the vocals here, nothing too extraordinary but it doesn't need that
  10. Welcome - underrated riff, overall good song but nothing jaw dropping
  11. Vermilion pt.2 (Still goated) - a dope acoustic song, it slaps but doesn't have the energy of the other one
  12. Prelude 3.0 - love this intro, dark but hopeful in a way representing the band's state
  13. Opium of the people - nice riff, and corey's vocals are awesome
  14. Scream - good deluxe track (not gonna lie i barely remember this one)
  15. Danger - Keep away - a weird, creepy way to end the album, too short imo, but also pretty good
  16. Virus of life - despite the message, i find this song to be boring (not too bad tho)

Snuff is awesome

That song gave me respect for them

Worst to best:
6. .5 grey chapter - There's good writing and production, and it's good the band was writing these songs without tension, but it's not the same without joey (even though this album is solid)
5. We are not your kind - Kind of an edgier sound compared to Grey chapter, a lot of heavier songs, and a lot of bangers (mainly solway firth)
4. Iowa - This album is heavy and pretty much flawless, but it's not my style/my personal taste
3. All hope is gone - Why do I have to call this album underrated, it's actually good despite the simplicity and mainstream elements in it (The singles are great and so is gematria and everything else basically)
2. Self titled - Great nu metal record with a lot of badass meaning behind each song

  1. Vol.3 subliminal verses - I chose this because it's the style of slipknot I like best. All their albums are nearing perfection but this sound appeals to me most. It's got nice riffs and vocals and stuff (kind of like maturing from their debut sound)

holy shit that was way better than i thought it would be

restive steppe
#

alright been a week since i listened to .5 so imma rank it either today or tomorrow

#

this will be hard but whatever

restive steppe
#
  1. Sarcastrophe - I think the only reason this one is #1 is because XIX sets it up so damn well, it's the same vibe as #2 just slightly better imo
  2. The negative one - heavy and badass with outstanding work from all band members
  3. AOV - another heavy, contrasting song that's an absolute banger
  4. Killpop - A sad, jaw-dropping song that people shit on because it got popular, completely ignoring the amazing lyrics and dope ass solo
  5. Devil in I - One of their biggest songs, and it definitely grew on me
  6. Nomadic - very good chorus, solo, and basically everything
  7. Custer - One of those live anthems they have
  8. Skeptic - "PISSED!", yeah the vocals on this one are awesome and give off a halloween vibe
  9. Lech - Underrated, don't remember much but definitely good
  10. Override - Very strong chorus, the rest isn't as good but this song is still underrated af
  11. The One that Kills the least - solid vocals and everything, but nothing crazy
  12. Goodbye - Amazing tribute to Paul, that's all I can really say, it goes hard
  13. XIX - I don't care what anyone says this is the best prelude the band has done (i have heard them all)
  14. If Rain is what you want - A nice ballad at the end, i cant really say anything cuz it's nothing different or refreshing i guess
  15. The Burden - I DO NOT hate this song, just kind of less memorable
  16. Be prepared for hell - just a dark, creepy interlude that goes into negative one well (unfair to put anything higher)
