Paramore had a system where you can only resell your ticket for face value on Ticketmaster and they were non-transferable. Did it fix everything? No, but it was more effort than I've seen MCR make. Additionally, they ABSOLUTELY have the option to opt-in or opt-out of dynamic pricing. Look at The Cure and Neil Young - The Cure was able to get Ticketmaster to price their shows extremely affordable, like $25 a ticket for the entire arena. Neil Young opted out of the dynamic pricing entirely (https://www.theguardian.com/music/2025/mar/17/neil-young-rejects-dynamic-ticket-pricing-robert-smith)

to say that the band has zero say in this and are simply doing their jobs is heavy cope imo. i don't think they're massive pieces of shit but they're still complacent in not trying anything to fix the issue.
