I did, but that's because I'm shit at building interchanges and the default ones aren't very good

And there were like...3 parks

Yeah okay I'm just gonna place the same 3 parks in my city 40 times

And until the park expansion you couldn't build your own parks either

Then using mods and workshop assets, everything breaks every time there's a new game patch or expansion

It's why I kinda stopped playing it

Games like that are for the detailers of the world who want everything super customized and are gonna go anywhere to get it

If you just want to...play the game...it's pretty bare bones

RCT has enough pre-made shit and gamey scenarios and assets it's still fun to play. And being a theme park, I don't really care if I have carbon copy pizza shops because...that's realistic

Well I guess it's the same with some stuff for Cities: Skylines, but the total lack of parks really pissed me off.

Ah nice, I used the abandoned airport scenario so I made the elephant mascot a pilot and made a ride called Eddy Goes to space, it goes underground so it seems like it’s in space at first then it comes out into the space area to make it seem like he flew the helicopter to Planet X, as I called my space area

@prisma briar Playing Planet Coaster for the first time in years and I'm definitely remembering why I stopped playing it. At first I was getting really into it, like "Wow, you can do so much! Look at all the options!" but then really basic stuff was tripping me up SO HARD. The menus are confusing as shit and it took me at least 10 minutes just to find the props again. Spent ages building up my paths and rides and scenery and shops. Opened the park and it's yelling at me saying there's somehow still not enough scenery in my ride queues, my shops don't have staff (but it's not telling me which ones/how to add them?), and there's no path connecting my shops to the main path (wtf yes there is? Oh wait, to the BUILDING yes, but not the vendors INSIDE the building because apparently the interiors also need pathways because a floor just isn't good enough), then it takes me like 15 minutes fiddling with the camera angles to figure out how to even see inside the building to build the damn paths, then when I try to build the paths it keeps saying it's obstructed or tries to build a path through the wall instead of to the door. So all in all I've been playing the game for around 3 hours and have experienced like 5 minutes of actual gameplay. This much setup to even get a park ready to be open would take maybe 10-15 minutes maximum in RCT. Maybe a little more if you start off building an intricate custom ride, but not if you're using ploppables.

I've also only built 3 rides. All pre-built ploppables. 🙃

It is WAY too easy to accidentally end up with floating objects. This game gives no fucks about the laws of physics.
