i listened to the new weezer single and. it's... fine? there comes a point in an artists career where there isnt really any point in making new music as you cant really beat your best
and also when i saw the cover for the first time i had a thought creeping in that it was AI

I read a Q&A he did on a discord server recently and he was talking about the Weezer project. He sounded very excited about the whole thing and was talking about how he studied their previous albums before starting production on this one. he specifically cited White as the one he studied the most
it's bizarre that he's producing the album but i'm stoked because he seems genuinely passionate about this
