@vapid crescent another good band to see in a sweaty basement
dude so long astoria is so good
esp takeoffs and landings
also my obscurify profile does say something
its overly relatable for me as no one likes those roadtrip songs quite like someone from the midwest
the relatability of the album rivals this is why from paramore
and thats saying something
meaningful lyrics with a nostalgic undertone
and same with san dimas... sorta
i went to a massive high school in an urban area with a class of 925, so stuff like running off with our parents cars wasnt a thing since few of us drove and fewer had an actual reason to, so i always thought that was like THE suburban midwest HS song since i have cousins who went to less urban schools
i kinda wish i was a high schooler in the 2000s
it all seems... great
nowadays everyone is hyper-hyper-hyperfocused on college
no time for enjoyment cuz like oh i have this extracurricular
Yea, the year and a half of HS precovid had us doing some stupid stuff tho, but we had city life’s to keep up
We recreated the dance scene from breakfast club in my hs
i hate high school because of this
