If the new player experience wants to be enhanced it has the same principles as advertising the game; the community is a vital part of that push for bettering the new-player experience and having people voluntarily look out for teaching new players the game will only improve that

I thought there was an "I want to learn the game" voice channel. I think this is a good idea for a discord text channel as well though.

to be clear, i'm not saying there's any harm, i actually think it's a good idea. i was more just appreciating where we currently are with new player support
