#Give the F1s a scope

This. ATM the F1 is just mostly a worse Ingmar. I rarely see experinced players even use it. Even when there's no mid range weapons left, people will opt to just use a close range weapon and make it work.

It takes a quarter of the inigmars mag to kill a attacker with chest shots, it takes the F1 nearly half its mag

The F1 only deals 5 more damage then the inigmar. Meanwhile, the inigmar is straight up full auto

The F1 is a mid to long range gun with irons. The inigmar is a mid to long range gun with a clean scope.

I personally think it should just straight up be replaced with something else, but since that's probably 100% out of the cards, i'll instead just ask that it has a good low to mid magnification scope.

That should help it atleast have SOME purpose to the defender economy.

The legros does have a role as a precision wallbang chip gun but thats about it

I think the scoped ingmar is too crucial to remove, but I support giving the legros a buff

I personally think the mid-long range guns should have scopes in general.

So they can, y'know, be used at range accurately.

The ingmar could still be used effectively at range if it had a clear sight picture i think no one would really take the scoped f1 over what would just be the same gun but full auto if it kept its scope

Thats kinda why i think the F1 should be completly replaced, but if the F1 had a scope, is could atleast be used as an eco inigmar.

Either way, the solution to the problem is not nerfing a gun that i think is in a good balance state just because the F1 is hot garbage.

There was at one point a gun that was almost in the game called the STL that was a straight pull bolt action with a scope that would fill that scout rifle role but it was scrapped

legros is in a super uncomfortable spot balance wise

it's not as good of a long range option as an ingmar, mawp, or even long kr. and it's not even that good for wallbanging considering the nack and dawn exist

in theory it has disgusting headshot TTK, letting you 2 tap attackers. but in practice it's almost never going to be as clean as that. and without headshots it becomes the longest TTK out of the entire defender arsenal

Honestly, if i could just replace all the F1s with one of these, or atleast a couple of legally distinct m16s, id be a happy man

Its not even bait. Think about it. Scouts kill in 2 body shots, or one head shot.

Guess what the MAWP does ever since its damage got bumped down to 85?

Yes but it doesnt behave like that due to the reload speed and giant ads move speed penalty

It behaves more like an ambush weapon not something that could theoretically do quick follow up shots

Im not really saying scout rifle like a direct comparison to the CS scout more in relation to the real life concept that the steyr scout was made for, a light handy bolt action

There should not be one because the F1 is a good as is and a Scope would make it too OP

And im not talking about adding MORE guns. Im talking replacing 3 trash ones with 1/2 good ones.

The F1 is good, you just have to use it properly

It has good damage, good recoil, and good range. It's just harder to use at range, and it's better at ambushing

You Ambush people with it, at close, to medium range

It has good headshot damage, and can shoot through doors

you only have 24 hours in the game so it's understandable to be wrong but please don't talk like you're speaking objective truths

the bodyshot damage is miserable, it gets outranged by a lot of other defender guns, other guns are just as good if not better at shooting through doors, and it's not better at ambushing than any other gun in the game

I think in the future they'll add back seperate silencer attachments for attackers, and I think they should make make scopes an attachment so the ingmar / f1 don't start with them by default
