#Increase ranked minimum game count

I agree, maybe not 25 or 50 but something in between, like 30-40, so they at least have the bare minimum experience, i’ve seen some devious shit from new players in ranked
I feel now that the player count is actually high it’s probably a good thing so everyone can slowly get to a higher base skill level
I think 50 games is good. It might be annoying for some, but it's a good baseline. 50 games = ~25 hoursish. That's enough to know what they're at
Yeah i feel that, but 50 games might be a bit too many, and push people away that maybe just wanna hop in ranked with some buddies who recently got the game
people at 100 games not knowing to NOT barb red doors is insane
literal day 1 lessons
I think that’s just more down to the lack of decent players in unranked, they don’t really get to learn while playing
That’s why i agree that the minimum games should be higher, but 50 might be a bit too many that’s my take
I just had alot of players complaining they are playing against 2k players but I think it is their own fault for queuing into a rank with minimal expierence. Definitely should increase the minimum of games required to play ranked.
i honestly think it should be tied to a mini-battle pass
if youre a good player youll get xp and finish the pass sooner, meaning ranked sooner
if youre shit, it takes way longer, meaning ranked way later
it promotes learning about ways to get xp, aka assists, using flashes, placing util on markers, etc
Ok that sounds actually kinda fire
But if it’s tied to util it might bring more people to just waste util to get more levels in and getting into ranked faster, idk
Yeah, it’s better than nothing for sure
Due process does have a tutorial but not an exhaustive one I suppose. Making it mandatory to play ranked would be smart
mandatory to play ranked?...
Making the tutorial a prerequisite to play ranked
this has been known for 5+ years
You said “if we had a tutorial”
There is one though? It has instructions and basic concepts and tools and you are taught the premise of entry and how to use certain tools
It is far from exhaustive but gets many people into being able to actually play the game, and without it those people who have 0 games wouldn’t even be able to pick up the door charge and know how it’s used
It hits all the criteria of being a tutorial, if by now outdated
its a tutorial, but has no actual guidance on what to do, doesnt explain anything, etc etc
