You can just leave that match if you don't wanna play against a stack, but if you stop people from playing together then they have nothing they can do about it. Friends play with friends, that's the way the game gets more players and that's the way it retains them.

Haha i was one of the guys that got wrecked by the @hardy echo stack. Not their fault they want to stack up. While it is frustrating to play against now, ranked will sort its self out when player base goes up.
The mechanics are technically easy yeah but knowing how it comes together takes time. I remember in 2020 it being fun to team up with randos and learn the things you can do and then pass that on to others. I think they should make you play a minimum amount of casual games before going ranked for the time being.
I don't want new people to get discouraged and quit because or ranked and i don't want to not be able to stack up if i want to.
The game has amazing bones, needs a lil polish and a media push or something as they go into v1.0

personally, i'm annoyed at the rate of development. i'm sure the devs in here will be annoyed to read that but... i can't champion your game for FOUR years in EA but try to defend the player-base. "its SO GOOD but literally nobody plays it"
