Imo it depends what raids are you go for. If you can only throw 1 charge attack and your poke will be faint, Y is better while you can deal more damage. If opposed pokemon won’t kill you easily, X is better while you can reach 1 more charge attack with higher defense and stamina. If you can reach one extra charge attack, your damage will be higher than Y. Y is better only if they throw same # charge attacks
