Harder to detect, harder to overcome. There have been no reports of rooted methods getting banned for over 18 months. However, the typical spoofer is promiscuous. Means they certainly tried many methods over the years and Nia doesn't forget and doesn't forgive. I've seen strikes issued based on years old things. It happens.
