Talonflame with Incinerate Flame Charge + Brave Bird is good for a Fire type attacker. With a bit of a reckless side due to Brave Bird's defense drop, as long as you use Flame Charge one or two times prior it's a really good Pokemon. Charizard is more for the Dragon-type attacker route if you run DBreath DClaw and Blastburn. Talonflame I've seen more in GL and Charizard in UL.

So really it depends on the league you want to do more in

Talon > Zard for GL, Zard > Talon for UL imo
