It's good in halloween cause very few things resist Water there. And Qwilfish resists the slew of Poison fast moves being thrown around, plus Ice (Froslass) and Fighting (Scrafty, Obstagoon, Toxicroak) while hitting almost all for at least neutral dmg

Pvpoke recommended Poison Sting but given the context of Halloween Cup i think WG is better

It does make the Azu match-up much trickier tho, still winnable but not so much. Same for Charmers but those werent very common
