The AR quest is separate, so you can hold three additional regular tasks.

It doesn't matter where you got the AR quest from; just keep it in your quest log while you move around.

Yes. An AR Quest is just a prerequisite for getting the Mega Research. You just need to have one in your list, go to the coordinates, and spin the stop. If you don't have an AR quest, the stop will give you a different task instead of the Mega Energy one.

Spawns tend to be more dense in the park, so less need to move around, but raids should be fine because people without passes can still do raids, even if they're not getting mega energy. But in terms of spawn pools and shiny rates, should be about the same in park and in city play

there are many events with wild magikarps, so don't worry using 400 candies just for a mission
