Most of these Legendaries have already been recycled through raids and events many times, so giving something back to players wouldn’t have hurt this greedy company. On top of that, they even turned off the shiny boost for Pokémon that normally have permanently boosted rates.

Maybe they thought people would get too many Legendaries to trade, but honestly, how many special trades can we even do in a day?
