If you wanna catch hundo legendary, the last day might be your chance. Generally, after the event ends, niantic will eliminate high flee rates of legendary and they won't run. So, when a region approaches 8pm and and hundo legendary spawns, camp it till 8pm and right after its local clock hits 8pm, catch it.
Disclaimer: This method can be wrong for this event as niantic might not eliminate high flee rates.
