I didn't see my first shiny (random IV) until 51 minutes in. At the end of spotlight hour in my timezone, I jumped to another zone and my first check was a shundo.

You won’t be able to do that. You can use the community channels to hunt Pokémon if and when they spawn. You can use request channels to react to a Pokémon and be notified if and when it spawns (requires discord to be open since discord can be buggy with tagging mass amounts of people sometimes)
Or you can become a donor and get tailored dm’s to Pokémon spawns if and when they happen to your inbox.

Just for the record here, in case anyone’s wondering. I’ve been hearing a lot of confusion around bans and false flags , I believe the evidence all points to setup rather than in game behavior. When people say they ‘vanilla spoof’ means they use GpS joystick to spoof and the legit pogo app. No injectors. This is currently the safest way to spoof. Modified apps are the most risky and then certain injectors may be flagging your account.

To prevent it from despawning while on cooldown, enter the encounter and stay on the encounter screen untill cooldown time is over
