having an active level 3 mega results in 7-8 xl per raid, 9 if you are lucky

the mega or primal needs to be of the same type as the raid boss

I won’t be able to by the end of the raid. And I kept switching to mega different pokemon and used a bunch of primal energy on kyogre to try to get it to level 2. But it kept saying need to mega 6 more times. Even tho I did it like 4-5 times

49 raids should get you enough xl candy to max if you average 6 xl candy per kyogre. Much better than the 99 I thought it was.

With 68 raid passes left. Maybe I’ll do a couple more kyogre raids to try for a better one then 13/14/15 shiny kyogre. Or would you say it’s not even worth trying? That one is good enough..? Thoughts
