From my experience in london, so if you buy main ticket on friday and choose morning event you play inside the park then continue outside the park, and add ons if you buy for saturday or sunday or both, you get boost shiny rates and spawn (spawn its like in main event in the park but without habitat, so basically all pokemon spreaded randomly throughout the city) from 9am-7pm
