I think I have figured out the Zorua 100IV mechanism.
I had a shiny banette as a buddy but the Zorua appeared as it is not as a shiny banette. That Zorua was caught as a hundo.
I tried a few accounts where that Zorua was disguised as a buddy, then the IVS will re-roll>
So, it's like looking for a shiny, if it appears as a Zorua and NOT disguised as a buddy, the IVs will not re-roll.

It seems more likely by chance. On another alt I went to a 100iv in Japan with Zorua as buddy, it spawned as Zorua on map but iv's re rolled.

It remembers the previous one, so change it again to get the "false" Zorua

Eg. I had Zorua, changed to kanga, but spawns were still Zorua. So changed to hydriegon and spawns are now kanga. So hopefully and pure Zorua are good to go from now on

TRICK TO CATCH ZORUA 100% (or any fixed IV combination you like):

1. Remember which is your 1st buddy (you can rename it, if you like)
2. Set a 2nd buddy (anyone is ok except Zorua)

3. Set back your 1st buddy and teleport to a zorua 100iv (or any iv-combination you like).
4. You will see Zorua in the wild form. Catch it and IVs won't change!

If you don't use this trick, Zorua IVs will randomly change after your catch.

Zorua IV's change randomly each time it's caught. The trackers won't work. I've confirmed this by catching the same Zorua on 3 different accounts. Each account caught the same Zorua, but each IV's were completely different. If a 100IV Zorua shows up on the tracker, it won't be 100IV when you catch it.

Just check the hundo in the feed that doesn't match that pokemon. I.e. I found a hundo vulpix with 974CP so it is actually hundo zorua.
