Those would be the biggest bang for your buck. If you want to invest more, consider later versions with more ram. Xiaomi devices are available but take a week to root. What you’re looking for is a device that can be rooted with magisk. Avoid US/Canadian/North American variants of Samsungs.

Example: If you catch a pokemon in Chicago at 5pm, you can play near that area however long you want. But the moment you want to fly to LA or NY for example, it will be 2 hours from the last trigger action in your journal.
