kinda wanted someone to skim over this clip to see if i can atleast optimize it. I realized the third dair was overkill and ultimately made me botch this. but if i were to figure out to minimize these I was hoping i could close out stocks way earlier.

it was mostly just timing

#

also you dont have to double jump befoe fair sh dair works, its easier to time as well

alright

also its a little risky to try to hit dair when they're hugging the wall, since they can walltech->DJ Bair or something

At best, reverse dair is gokd there since it lets you cover a lot of options with your utilt and dstrong and it hits lower than the front hitbox

#

Secondly, when the zetter did their first up b offstage, you could've just nair'd and pushed your edgeguard from there, fair would work as well even if it's a little commital if you don't drift back

#

After that sourspot dair that sent up, you could've went for an fstrong there, it sends them a bit of a better angle to recover but it keeps you in advantage state, otherwise utilt can work there as well if you're confident you can find a way to do more damage

#

And the final dair was unnecessary, you basically could've just waited to see what angle they'd go to and then punish with one of your tilts from there

#

that's also another situation where nair would've been better if you really wanted to hit them there

#

You could've finished the stock(or at least be in a better position to do so) if you:
-Timed your options better
-Choose said options more carefully instead of going mainly for dair
-followed up better on the times where you did hit them(in that utilt after the sourspot dair, you went for nair instead of bair, hell a grab there might've been possible there, but nair wasn't the play there)
-Got awareness of the ressources that the other player had and what route he could/will take(On that last up b before they recovered, you really could've just waited at a safe range and send them back offstage before they even got to touch the stage)

#

This sounds like a lot, but it's about developing the knowledge of those situations to the point where it becomes muscle memory, and you won't even need to think about it, it'll just be a part of your core memory

honestly got greedy after the second dair. at that point i was just going for a dunk.
i guess i got too caught up in keeping him down there that i just completely ignored my other options
will take that advice to heart, altought i feel like all of this just boils down to intuition and instinct
