just fought a ranno who somehow got up to 170% before he died
there's gotta be some way to consistently kill early with this man

Like fully charged down B, into double jump backward slight charge Tusk to catch DI in

#

And will kill off the top early

I never really use down B outside of recovery, so getting that might.. be hard.

#

but tusks as a kill move? wouldn't that require a heavy read that an up strong couldn't sort out?

Sometimes, but usually it's more of knowing how to get people into enough hitstun to land it. Also, since you can use it in the air, it ends up being a bit more versatile than ustrong

Down B is a combo move that can recover

Honestly, landing air tusks seems really hard
I picked loxodont to avoid having to do combos and kill confirms and all that kinda stuff, mostly picked him for the tech chase and edgeguards

#

So having to try and kill confirm into a hard to aim move is.. not really the vibe

There's nothing to aim. It's a melee attack when used in the air that kills off the top

Yeah the confirms themselves aren't super hard, it's moreso about hitting the things that lead into tusks

#

He's one of the mechanically easiest characters in the game imo

If you don’t want to do those then just polish up your edgeguard game

#

But it’s objectively worse to not combo or kill confirm

#

If you’re wondering why your opponent won’t just die, that’s why

#

Game not easy and people won’t just run into your kill moves in neutral a lot of the time if they gain half a brain cell
