You know, I like to reminisce about the past from time to time, but this is one that we can discuss as a community; Thrice or so, I told troublemaking newbies that they'd probably not last too long with their attitude. You can imagine how their attitude was (blatantly violated the server's terms of service)
And I was right.
None of them ever lasted more than a day.
Sometimes you gotta trim more than your hedges. Sometimes your ego needs a good trimming.
I think the standards we set for ourselves as a community can be something to be proud about.
I consistently complain about how I despise my species because we lack the ability as human beings to look within and ask ourselves the big questions in life like "Who are we?", "What do we want?" and "How can we get those things without starting a conflict?", but I think we do a pretty good job at getting what we need and what we want right here in our little coven.
