Veilguard is the opposite in that it's all about individual adjustments, your character's headshape is configured from you adjusting the ratio of three different face presets to your preferred setting and you individually adjust the jaw and every other aspect of the face. Even things like eye and hair color have set presets but the saturation and brightness can be altered as well to get other colors
Dragon's Dogma overall has the more in depth and complex system given that veilguard's is relatively simplistic, but it's kinda funny they go completely different routes with it
