when its near the horizon, rayleigh scattering will do that

the light from the moon has to go through more of earths atmosphere to reach you when its near the horizon

and since the atmosphere scatters blue light it makes it look orange

As far as I know all samsung does is detect when you are looking at the moon, and then just uses better AI processing to show you whats there, It's not lke they are replacing it with a PNG of a different moon
