I would recommend fighting the mech bosses at night, gather hallowed bars, and make the Excalibur and hallowed repeater. Search YT for "how to kill mech bosses" for tips. For now, go to the dungeon, get a handgun and the murasama, buy the minishark from the arms dealer, go to the underworld to mine hellstone for the firey greatsword and pheonix blaster, go to the underground hallowed and get around 30 souls of light for keys of light, put 1 key in a chest, and kill the mimics for a chance of the deadalus stormbow.
